Can I Leave An Electric Fireplace Running All The Time?
While you technically can leave an electric fireplace running continuously, there are situations where this isn’t advisable. Fortunately, many electric fireplaces have automatic shut-off features and timers, allowing you to power the unit down when you’re away from home or you don’t need it.

This is commonly caused by the overheat safety sensor. When your electric fireplace gets too hot, this feature activates to shut it down before it can do damage.
